This quiet, relaxing and enjoyable caffeine-free infusion is the sister of Relaxing Lavender™ (an infusion with uplifting St John’s Wort) that we recommend to consume as an afternoon or evening tea.
This tea is great served both hot and cold, providing relaxation whenever you need it – as if you were sitting in a peaceful, lavender field in the middle of Provence.
Wellbeing
The lavender in this infusion aids relaxation, supported by the other floral ingredients – acacia, hibiscus and camomile. The creaminess comes from the vitamin and mineral-rich nettle. The hibiscus also provides this tea helps reduce blood pressure alongside the sweet liquorice.

Preparation
For a hot cup of tea: Boil a fresh cup of water and pour over 1 teaspoon of tea and steep with a cover for 15-20 minutes.
For 1 litre of iced tea: Boil a cup of water and pour over 2 tablespoons of tea – steep with a cover for at least 20 minutes. Strain and add Honey or sugar to taste and a drop of lemon juice, then dilute with 3 parts iced water or soda water (alternative – brew with Stevia leaves as a sweetener – available here).
Possible Side Effects
Warning: Prepared in an area where Mustard seed & Celery are also used. Herbs have medicinal properties that will affect the body but should not replace examination and advice from your medical practitioner. Please check that they are happy for you to drink herbal infusions. If you feel any discomfort, stop immediately and find out the cause (it may not be herbal tea that caused the discomfort!).
