The indulgent Cinnamon Apple Pie Chai™ combines the comforting flavours of Cinnamon and sweet, fruity Apple. This blend can be served hot as a wonderful winter warmer or iced as a refreshing summer drink.
We recommend that you add coconut milk to make it a true chai, but this is entirely down to your own tastes.
Rooibos | Apple pieces | Cinnamon | Safflower | Marigold | Stevia | Natural flavours
Boil a fresh cup of water and pour over 1-2 teaspoons of the loose tea and steep with a cover for 15-20 minutes. Add milk (we recommend coconut milk) to taste. Best consumed freshly brewed as a hot drink, in itself this has a beneficial effect on your immune system – sieve before drinking, if not using a teabag. For the best flavour, store it in a cool dark place.
As an iced tea, brew a very strong cup of tea (use tablespoons in place of teaspoons) and steep as above. Strain and dilute with iced cold water (approx. 2-3 cups of cold water), then add milk.
